Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a study of processed meats. Finding that women who ate processed meat had a 9% increased risk of breast cancer. Vindicating Dr. Wallach who has recommended avoiding processed meats for decades. However Doc has been against the meats because of the nitrites and nitrates that are used a preservatives. These compounds are known to cause inflammation in blood vessels.
