Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing his theory on why the reefs are dying. Stating that when all of the major rivers were dammed up to create electricity the silt no longer gets to the oceans. So the silt that feeds the algae that then help keep the reefs alive. Also refering to his speech that he made at a Tesla event.
Pearls of Wisdom
Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a study from the University of Florida College of Medicine. The study found a link between hypertension and depression and the gut microbiome. Finding that people with hypertension and prehypertension had a less diverse gut microbiome than people without the disease.
