Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article about a Swedish study. The study found that the odds of a heart attack on Christmas Eve rise 40%. The odds of a heart attack on New Years Eve rise 20%. Researchers contend this is most likely due to people eating and drinking alcohol in excess. There is also an increased risk of heart attack by 12% in Sweden in late June’s “Midsummer” celebration.
