Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show discussing the covid numbers. Comparing Asian countries to European countries. Citing the numbers of how the Asian countries have much larger populations. But lower infection and death rates. Contending the Asians live on rice and yams while the Europeans eat wheat based products. Asserting the wheat eaters are damaging their intestines compromising their ability to absorb nutrients. In turm weakening their immune systems leaving them more vulnerable to the virus.

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a study on breast cancer rates. One Puerto Rican study found that women who consumed sofrito more than once a day had a 67% reduced risk of breast cancer compared to those who ate none. Sofrito is condiment that is a staple in Puerto Rican cook made from onions and garlic. Some recipes call for other ingredients like cilantro and peppers. The onions and garlic contain antioxidants such as quercetin, saponin and alliin.
